21 Weeks.

How far along: 21 Weeks

Size of Baby: a banana

Weight Gain: +10. I hit double digits this week folks! Oh, and I've been STARVING all week, so I expect a huge jump next week...

Symptoms: Still super tired. And my back is starting to hurt. I think I need to talk to my doc about recommending a prenatal chiro next time I go in.

Clothes: For the most part, I'm still in maternity pants and regular shirts. I did, however, order maternity work shirts. Definitely going to need them soon!

Cravings/Aversions: OMG french fries. We drove past McDonalds this week, and I HAD to get fries after that. It was a little ridiculous. And poptarts. They've been sounding sooooo good.

Movement: Still nope.

Worries: I fear that I'm going to explode with gas. Seriously. I can't help it. Also. I need to start worrying about the nursery. Time to get started on that!!

Milestones: Baby is learning to swallow. And is supposedly moving up a storm in there, but I wouldn't know :P

Best moment of the week: We got new people starting at work, which takes a huge load off me. Also - we're mostly unpacked! And we started a shower demo. We like to tackle everything at once ;)

Two things.

1) YES ON THE CHIROPRACTOR! I can't stress that enough. Not only will it help your back pain, it will help your overall health and get your body in shape for giving birth. See if he'll even adjust you when you first go into labor to make sure you're all ready to go (that can also help speed labor along, just sayin').

2)Sleep with a pillow between your knees (if you're a side sleeper) or under your knees (if you're a back sleeper). I didn't figure that one out until the end of my first pregnancy and it helped SO MUCH with back pain. Seriously. Also, get a prenatal yoga DVD. Seriously, that will stretch you out and make sleeping (and, well, everything else) a lot more comfortable. I promise.

Also, have I said lately how EXCITED I am for you guys?!

Here's the webpage for the chiro that I see. Dr. Shine is awesome and only works with ladies (mostly preggo ladies.) She's a little crunchy, so if you're not into that, she might be a little intense. Example: The first time I went to her, she told me about how Tums is terrible for me. I still take tums, I just don't tell her.

I didn't go to a chiro for my first pregnancy because I didn't really have many aches and pains, but I'm going this time.
